Surgical management of fibrous dysplasia of maxilla


This video clipping shows surgery being performed for a patient with mono ostotic fibrous dysplasia of maxilla.  This surgical procedure is known as Parring of the maxilla.  Here you will see the involved bone being progressively drilled away using a motor and drill bit.
